Penelope Cruz Honored By Spanish Queen

Penelope Cruz was honored last week in New York at the Spanish Institute by Spanish Queen Sofia. Cruz was grateful to accept the award for her achievements in promoting Hispanic culture around the world.



Also acknowledged at the event was former president Bill Clinton for his significant role as a world leader.


Spanish fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta presented the medals along with the queen to the deserving Cruz and Clinton.


Penelope Cruz also appeared on the cover of Vogue this month to promote the Spanish culture in different Oscar de la Renta gowns.
