Academy award winner, Charlize Theron, is using her fame for a good cause these days. Recently the influential actress was awarded the responsibility of being a UN Messenger of Peace for violence against women.



Theron will continue assisting with the campaign UNite to End Violence Against Women.

Charlize Theron arrived at the MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California dressed in something different than the typical dress and heels. The South African actress was looking incredibly hot in her metallic bustier top and gladiator stilettos.

Charlize Theron was voted the sexiest women alive by Esquire magazine. The photo spread and story on the 32 year old South African beauty will be in the November issue of the magazine. In the past winners included actresses like Jessica Beil, Angelina Jolie, and Scarlett Johansson.

Charlize next movie is called In The Valley of Elah. Its a political drama where Theron plays a detective looking for a missing soldier. Staring along side Theron in the movie are Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon.
