Teyona Gets The Best Photo On America's Next Top Model

This week on America's Next Top Model, there was crying because it was makeover day. Fo could not stop the tears as they cut off all her hair. After their transformations, the girls got a huge surprise, as Nigel Barker was their photographer for this week. The goal of the modeling was to control your own light. The girls had glow sticks in their hands in order to light their bodies in an asethetic manner.



The best photograph of the week went to Teyona, who they gave a bad makeover to. According to Tyra, Teyona will be getting a new 'do soon.

The bottom two this week were Fo and Jessica. Fo let her emotions get the best of her and cried on set, and Jessica produced an ugly photograph. In the end they gave Fo another chance and told Jessica to pack her bags and go home.

America's Next Top Model Recognizes Allison

America's Next Top Model is back and this week the models had to reach into the past and imitate little girls at play. According to Tyra, girls are growing up too fast and it's a major issue that the models should address.



Allison, a 20 year old artist from New Orleans, had the best photo this week. This odd girl has strange eyes and is fascinated by nose bleeds, but she impressed the judges the most. The first girl to be eliminated from cycle 12 is Isabella, a 19 year old from Barboursville, VA. Isabella, known as the girl with epilepsy, got nervous when she had to walk the runway for Abaete because of the strobe lights. The lights did not affect Isabella in any way but her photograph protraying dodge ball did not make the cut.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Elina

This week on America's Next Top Model, Tyra decided to eliminate Elina from the competition, saying she was too stiff and controlled. The girls had to pose for photographer Tyra Banks (which made them very nervous). The best photo, voted by the judges was by Samantha, who looked very natural in her first photograph. The judges said it could have been a Calvin Klein ad.

Whitney Wins America's Next Top Model

Whitney Thompson from Atlantic Beach Florida is the newest winner of America's Next Top Model. Whitney is the first plus sized model to win the competition, and she is proud to be full figured.



The new top model has reported that she is getting letters from girls all over America telling her about their eating disorders and that they are happy to finally have someone be full figured and know that they are beautiful.



The judges had a hard time deciding the winner between Anya and Whitney. Anya was photographed better, however, Whitney commanded the runway.



Look for Whitney on the July cover of Seventeen magazine and as the new Cover Girl.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Dominique

This week on America's Next Top Model the remaining 4 girls had to pose with Nigel Barker in a photo shoot. The photo shoot was action packed, where the models had to act as if they were being attacked by paparazzi. The bottom two this week were Dominique and Fatima. Tyra told Dominique that she started out horrible and worked her way up to fantastic, but she did not have a Cover Girl face. Fatima was told that she should have been able to do better considering she had 50 extra frames to work with. In the end Dominique was eliminated.



The best photograph this week was by Anya.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Katarzyna

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a posing battle in Rome. Whitney won the challenge this week and got money to go shopping in Rome with Anya. For the official photo shoot, Tyra was the photographer. The photo shoot took place in a Roman castle where the girls had to look high fashion and over exaggerated. The bottom two were Whitney and Katarzyna. Tyra choose to eliminate Katarzyna because she was not pushing herself to the limits.

The best photograph was by Dominique.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Stacy-Ann

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls participated in a group photo shoot where they were running to catch their flight on their private plane. Fatima, who is a refugee from Somalia, had lost her travel documents and missed the photo shoot so she could go to retrieve it. She realized that she would need her documents in order to travel outside the country and risked the photo shoot to do it.



Trya choose to put Stacy-Ann and Fatima in the bottom two, because Stacy-Ann was a pretty girl, but was not improving and was not doing as well as the other girls. In the end the judges choose to eliminate Stacy-Ann, because when compared with Fatima's past photographs, Stacy-Ann was the weaker of the two.

The best model in the photograph was Anya, who is doing exceptionally well in the competition and impressing the judges.

America's Next Top Model Gets Too Sexy

Popular reality show, America's Next Top Model has recently been under fire for its March 26th episode which showed Anya, a contestant on the show, posing fully nude on a bed for photographer Nigel Barker. The Parents Television Council is very upset about the nudity on prime time television and have filed a complaint against the show.

Anya won a challenge and her prize was to pose nude for famed photographer Nigel Barker, who is also a judge on the show. Barker, who is known for his British charm and good looks often flirts with the girls and usually likes to photograph them in more 'sexy' situations.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Claire

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had to walk the streets of New York to get to their 'go see's'. Stacy-Ann booked the most jobs because of her cute and friendly personality. The photo shoot was something a little different this week. The girls had to pose in water on a plastic sheet, while the camera shot from below them.

Trya choose to put Lauren and Claire in the bottom two. Lauren doesn't have enough confidence this week and her photo was bad. Claire just had one look for the camera and wasn't diverse enough. Tyra choose to eliminate Claire.

The best photograph this week was by Fatima.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Amiee

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a photoshoot where they had to play the part of different musical personalities. Trya choose to put Amiee and Claire in the bottom two because they both didn't convey their genre. In the end they choose to eliminate Amiee because she wasn't strong enough compared to the other girls.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Marvita

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a posing battle in Brooklyn, NY. The girls found out later that their photo shoot didn't have too much to do with posing but more about subtle facial expressions. Each girl had a close up shot of her face with paint dripping off of them.



The judges narrowed it down to Whitney and Marvita. Tyra said that both girls were not taking the modeling industry seriously enough, but they thought Whitney wanted it a little more. In the end they decided to send Marvita home.


The best photograph this week was by Claire.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Amis

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had to pose in harsh conditions in the meat packing district. Each girl was dressed in a wardrobe of meat, and had to pose with giant slabs of meat. This week in the bottom two was Fatima and Amis. The judges decided that Amis was too goofy and not taking modeling serious enough.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Allison

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls got their makeovers, no drama or hysteria this time, because most of the girls loved their new do's. The photo shoot after the makeover was in Elle MacPherson's lingerie line, with beautiful New York City in the background. The judges narrowed it down to Allison and Dominique. Tyra said that Dominique is confident but her photographs are nothing special. Allison was too conceited and didn't know how to say thank you. In the end the judges decided to give Dominique one more chance.

The best photograph of the episode was by Lauren, the awkward punk chick who makes her strange poses beautiful.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Atalya And Kimberly

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls arrived in New York City. Excitement went all around as they saw their new loft, and walked their first fashion show in Time Square. The girls modeled fashion from Badgley Mischka, while Ms. Jay watched and criticised.



The first photo shoot was to address the issues of homelessness in the city. The girls dressed in homeless attire, while they posed with actual homeless girls dressed in high fashion.
Kimberly shocked the judges when she announced that she hated fashion and didn't understand it. Tyra asked if she wanted to leave and now....no more Kimberly. Even though Kimberly left there was still and elimination to be done. In the end Atalya was eliminated because she looked pretty but was just not interesting enough. The best photograph of the episode was by Whitney. The judges said she surprised them by looking very high fashion and also had an invisible wind machine.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 10 Begins

Tyra started out a new season of America's Next Top Model with a dramatic prep school theme. Millions of girls tried out but as usual, only Tyra only chooses 13 to continue to New York City. Only this time there was a suprise, Trya decided at the last minute that 13 is an unlucky number and they would accept one more girl to make an even 14.

There is an interesting mix of girls this cycle. Watch to find out who wins.

The 14 girls are: Amiee, Allison, Amis, Anya, Atalya, Claire, Dominique, Fatima, Katurzyna, Kimberly, Lauren, Marvita, Stacy-Ann, and Whitney.

Saleisha Wins America's Next Top Model

This week on the finale episode of America's Next Top Model, three girls were left who had to compete in a Cover Girl photo shoot for Cover Girl Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers. In the judging Tyra decided to eliminate Jenah because she felt that she had some issues to deal with before becoming a model.

The final two were Saleisha and Chantal. The two girls competed in a Royal Fashion Show located outside of the Forbidden City.

In the final judging, Tyra decided that Chantal had the perfect body for showing clothes, but she was too stiff and not in control of her body. The winner of cycle 9 is Saleisha Stowers, a receptionist from Los Angeles.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Bianca

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had a photo shoot with Tyra as their photographer at the Great Wall of China. The girls had to pose as an enemy warrior scaling the wall for attack. After the photo shoot, Tyra made all the girls pose together to see which girl could stand out the most and grab the viewers attention. The winner of the group photograph was Chantal. According to Nigel barker, Chantal had the most striking look and he could not take his eyes off her.

In the end, the bottom two were limited to Bianca and Jenah. Bianca was not learning fast enough but was improving slowly and the judges believed that she needed more training than the rest of the group. Jenah had a bad attitude about being away from her family and seemed too preoccupied with being homesick than modeling. The judges decided to eliminate Bianca because Jenah was a stronger model.

The best photograph of the episode goes to Saleisha. She was very dynamic and spontaneous with her shots.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Heather

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls had the 'go see' challenge. Bianca and Saliesha did very well and were the only two that made it back on time. Heather only made it to one designer simply because she couldn't find her way around Shanghai. The other two girls just didn't give themselves enough leeway for Shanghai traffic. Bianca won the challenge.

The photo shoot challenge was to be able to stand out in a crowd. The photographer this week was Nigel Barker. Having one of the judges as their photographer, the models were nervous. The bottom two were Jenah and Heather. Jenah took a good photograph but Nigel said that her personality was too abrupt. She needs to control the way she jokes and the sarcasm. Heather was eliminated in the end because, although she was a beautiful girl and took beautiful pictures, she could not perform simple tasks.

The best photograph of the episode was by Saliesha. She looked edgy and her pose makes her stand out from all the commotion.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Lisa

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls went to Shanghai China. Soon after arrival the first Cover Girl commercial and photo shoot was done. Most of the girls did a terrible job on the commercial with the exception of Chantal. Heather could not get her lines right even after Jay fed them to her. Lisa had a breakdown and cried during the commercial and had to finish it with her eyes welled up.

In the end Tyra decided to out Heather and Lisa in the bottom two. Heather was there because she could not get her lines right with excessive coaching and Lisa because she also had trouble with the lines and she was not improving. The final decision was to eliminate Lisa from the competition.

The best Cover Girl Photo was by a tie this week between Jenah and Bianca. Jenah's photograph is original and beautiful and Bianca's photograph is a Cover Girl classic.

America's Next Top Model Eliminates Ambreal

This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls find out they are going to China for the completion of the show. The photo shoot took place in the desert of California. The girls had to pose next to a flaming convertible while looking frustrated and upset. Most of the photographs were great. Heather was upset from the previous competition and seemed bothered during her photo shoot, however, somehow she always seems to take a great shot. In the end Ambreal just wasn't model material. According to Tyra, she is a beautiful girl but not a model. The best photograph of the episode goes to Jenah again! Jenah managed to show the dress as well as portraying the desperation on set.
