The always glamorous Cameron Diaz walked the red carpet to the Kodak Theater wearing an Oscar de la Renta glittering gown with Cartier jewelry. The striking beauty never fails to impress, this time with a classic look.



Cameron's makeup look can be achieved with Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Sand in the crease and lining the upper and lower lash line with a black pencil. The lips are red with Chanel Rouge Coco in Gabrielle, and the same shade for her blush.

Rachel McAdams Presents An Award At The Oscars

The beautiful Rachel McAdams walked the red carpet yesterday in an Elie Saab Houte Couture gown. The strapless, flowing gown was beautifully watermarked with pastels.



Rachel's soft makeup look to accompany the dress featured grey and pink colors. Rachel is wearing Chanel Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Fountain on the outer corners of her eyes and under her eye. Next use Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Slate on the inner corners of the eye. On the lid and up to the brow use the Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Spices.



For the lips, Rachel is wearing Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Color in Rose Comete, with a tiny bit of gloss to shine.

Sandra Bullock Wins Best Actress

Sandra Bullock, always described as the most likable woman in show business, has just won the Oscar for best actress for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in 'The Blind Side'. The 45 year old actress looked stunning in her Marchesa gown, that clung to her body in just the right places, with beautiful embroidery on the bust.



'The Blind Side' is a film about a woman (Bullock) who takes in a homeless boy who ends up becoming an NFL football star.

Anna Kendrick was nominated for best actress in a supporting role for her work in 'Up In The Air', playing Natalie Keener opposite George Clooney. Kendirck did not win in this category, but seemed happy for Monique who took home the Oscar.



Many of us know Anna Kendrick from her first major movie series, Twilight and New Moon. Anna played Jessica, the 'best friend' of Bella Swan (the main character).

Penelope Cruz first words when accepting her award were, "has anyone ever fainted up here? Beacuse I think I might be the first one."

Kate Winslet Wins Best Actress

Kate Winslet finally wins best actress for her role in The Reader and seemed very grateful for the win. The actress looked stunning in her Atelier Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati asymmetrical gown. The grey silk dress had a beautiful embroidered overlay which Winslet paired with diamond earrings and bracelet.



During Winslet's speach she called out to her parents who were somewhere in the audience, to whistle so she could find them.

Angelina Jolie At The Academy Awards

The beautiful Angelina Jolie along with famous partner Brad Pitt rocked the red carpet in her black strapless gown by Elie Saab. The best actress nominee paired the flowing gown with Colombian emerald earrings and a ring.



We didn't get to hear Jolie's acceptance speach, but she congratulated Kate Winslet for the win on her way to the podium.

The Kodak Theatre was swarming with beautiful celebrities walking the red carpet in their expensive gowns. This year some of the major trends were red dresses, asymmetrical dresses, and of course strapless gowns.

Here are some of the best dressed celebrities of the night.

Cameron Diaz always looks stunning and usually makes the best dressed list due to her fantastic sense of style. Her pink strapless Dior dress by John Galliano is anything but plain with the complexity of the folds in her dress.

Grey's Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl choose to stand out in bright red with her custom made asymetrical Escada dress.

Everyone noticed Jennifer Garner in her black Oscar de la Renta strapless gown. Her figure flattering dress with ruffled bottom combined with her diamond necklace was a perfect choice.

Heidi Klum's Galliano dress matched the carpet, but she certainly did not blend in.

Hillary Swank always suprises us with her great taste in dresses. This year she did it again with her Atelier Versace black asymetrical dress.

Anne Hathaway presented an award in a red, one shoulder Marchesa dress with floral accent over her shoulder.

Pregnant mommy-to-be, Jessica Alba, showed her baby bump in a purple, strapless Marchesa gown.

Helen Mirren was wearing a Geroge Chakra red dress with Swarovski crystal sleeves. The crystals looked amazing in the small floral patterns on her arms.

Lastly, pop singer, Miley Cyrus looked all grown up in her birght red Valentino dress with cap sleeves. This was a great look for a girl her age.

Best Actress Fashion Report

The winner for best actress in a leading role this year for the 2008 Academy Awards is Marion Cotillard for the film 'La Vie En Rose'. The best actress was wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier white mermaid dress.



Other best actress nominees were Cate Blanchett for 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age'. Blanchett looked stunning in her Dries Van Noten purple gown.



Laura Linney for 'The Savages' was spotted on the red carpet wearing a simple black Michael Kors Gown.



Julie Christie for 'Away From Her' was wearing an intersting dress designed by herself and her stylist, Tayna Gill. The dress was a red, crushed material, paired with mesh white gloves.



Lastly, Canadian girl, Ellen Page for 'Juno', was wearing black vintage Jean Louis Scherrer.

Victoria's Secret Gives To Oscar Nominated Ladies

Victoria's Secret has decided to give a gift to each of the five ladies who are nominated for best actress for the 2008 Oscars. Supermodel, Heidi Klum was at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood California to present the gift from the lingerie store.

The gift consists of a pair of black lace panties with a 7.2 carat diamond and pink sapphire brooch worth $10,000. Lucky ladies, I guess we know what they will be wearing under their Oscar dresses this year.
